Summer in Macau arrives with rain. The local weather bureau expects 5 – 8 tropical cyclones to affect Macau in 2026, and in early August a tropical storm brushing the Guangdong coast briefly put the city under a typhoon signal. If your travel dates land in the wet season, this short guide covers how to reach us dry — and what to do when the sky refuses to cooperate.

Where Manhao is

Rainy nights are what the free car is for

Book through this site and we arrange a free private car from anywhere in Macau (as of August 2026). It collects you under your hotel’s porte-cochère and delivers you to the venue entrance — door to door, no umbrella required. The return trip works the same way.

Taxis get scarce in Macau the moment rain starts. Even if you could walk it, take the car on a wet night: just give us your hotel name and preferred time when you book.

Once you are inside, the weather is irrelevant

We are open 14:00 to 06:00 the next morning, daily, as of August 2026. Inside: the glass-railed showcase hall, the signature red water-bed suites, a free starlight lounge, and complimentary food and drinks in the marble dining hall. Whatever the sky is doing, the blue night stays lit. One thing to note — there is no overnight stay; the venue closes at 06:00.
